Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. She started her career in minor roles in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2002) and She's the Man (2006). Later, she played the role as reporter Willa McPherson on the FX series Dirt. Also, she played an integral role in the short-lived FX series The Ex List. She played Kaylee an infant Moira on the very first season of FX's American Horror Story. She played Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She voiced a variety of characters on Family Guy, an animated comedy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was born in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10years old when her mother and sister relocated to California [1and a half years ago] where they lived for a year before finally settling in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she began taking an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge relocated to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
